Classroom blogging

Interested in setting up a blog for your classroom? You could try Blogmeister, a free service from David Warlick. The following is from the Blogmeister website...
"This online blogging tool is explicitly designed with teachers and students in mind, where the teacher can evaluate, comment on, and finally publish students' blog articles in a controlled environment"

Hi!

The new Teacher Toolbox Pro (due for release soon!) will have a blog feature on it as well.

If you're interested in wikis, I came across this post just the other day:

"My name is Adam Frey and I'm a co-founder of a San Francisco company
called Tangient. We run http://www.wikispaces.com which offers hosted wikis
to community groups.

We've noticed that many teachers are using our service in their
classrooms and we've heard some great success stories from them. To encourage the use of wikis in education, we've decided to offer free
wikis to K-12 teachers and educators. These wikis can be public or
private, have no advertising on them, provide unlimited usage, and are
completely free. (Normally, our free spaces have advertising on them
and our private spaces cost $5 a month.)

You can sign up for an educational Wikispace here:

http://www.wikispaces.com/site/for/teachers

And you can read about one of our teacher success stories on our blog,
here:

Freel free to forward this message to your colleagues, post it on your
blog, or pass it along to anyone you think might be interested.

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact me directly.
